SCHOOLS AND FACILITIES

The Ontario College of Veterinary Medicine and the Universities of Guelph, Waterloo, Laurier, and McMaster are all approx. 30 minutes away.

Children attend the elementary and secondary schools within the The Hamilton Wentworth District School Board.

The public elementary school for our area is called, "Seaton Road Public School"

There are two public secondary school options which are:
1. Highland Secondary School
2. Parkside Secondary School (which prides itself on its academic record)

All three of these schools have a school bus service that will stop at the entrance to the farm.

There are also private schools that serve the region as well. They are:
1. Hillfield-Strathallen K-12 (located on the Hamilton West Mountain)
2. Hitherfield K-8 (Rockwood)
3. Fern Hill K-8

All of these schools have web sites that can provide additional details on their curriculum and mission statements.

Structured activities for children are superb in this area.
